Lake Palestine

Lake Palestine is one of the most popular east Texas fisheries offering a multitude of species to target, providing something for everyone. Lake Tyler

A canal connects the east and west lakes of lake Tyler. Both lakes have a great reputation as consistent largemouth bass fisheries. The lake offers diverse opportunities to target bass along the boat docks, shoreline vegetation, and offshore structure. Most largemouth are in the 2- to 8-lb class. Size distribution of crappie is also good, providing another great angling opportunity. If you are looking to diversify your skills to target largemouth bass or put some meat in the freezer, this is the lake for you.

Lake Athens is a hidden gem of a fishery that provides phenomenal angling opportunities for largemouth bass year-round. The lake is known for an abundance of largemouth bass in the 2- to 8-pound range. The water is mostly clear in clarity with the primary cover consisting of submerged and emergent vegetation.
